MAKE A DIFFERENCE

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Digital Agriculture Product Manager – Seed Selector to join our dynamic team, focused on revolutionizing the agricultural sector. This role will be at the forefront of the digital agriculture revolution, leading the development and management of our cutting-edge digital agriculture products. The successful candidate will have not only a strong product management background but also a passion for technology and a keen interest in sustainable farming and agriculture.

Role purpose:

  • We empower our product teams to solve hard problems - from both our customers and our business - and to create solutions that our customers love and yet create value for our business. As part of the global product team, you will collaborate closely with the product design and engineering teams to discover effective solutions and work together to deliver those solutions to the market. Close collaboration with the local commercial teams is also vital, understanding constraints and objectives from a business perspective in order to make balanced judgments and decisions.
  • Drive business outcomes (direct and indirect) through the adoption of digital agriculture products.
  • Craft amazing product experiences that delight our customers.
  • Deeply comprehend and embody the voice of the customer.
  • Manage the Cropwise Seed Selector product (and its underlying engine, the Product Analyzer), ultimately increasing its adoption across LATAM, the US, the EU, and other key markets. Collaborating with commercial teams and regional product management to find optimal product fit per market.

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Product Discovery & Development: The Product Manager will deeply understand our customers, their challenges, and their goals. This understanding will drive a customer-centric product development process, grounded in valuable insights from our users. Regular experiments will be conducted to test new ideas and functionalities, with rapid iterations based on customer feedback. The role involves shaping new features and functionalities, guiding them from concept to customer use. It's essential to understand the principles of product design, engineering, and marketing within the Cropwise ecosystem. The overarching goal is to ensure high quality in every artifact delivered.
  • Product analytics: Establish, track, and present the product’s performance every quarter, aligned with our portfolio's strategic Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Working as part of a global product team, ensuring close collaboration with the product management, engineering, and design teams is a must. Managing connectivity and communication effectively across multiple time zones. Collaborating with wider country and regional teams to maintain alignment with commercial objectives and securing that the ones in the supporting functions have the best experience to perform their work.
  • Stakeholder Management: It is vital to effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and development status to ensure clear expectations are set and managed. Regularly sharing key successes and challenges with local and regional stakeholders is crucial to maintain visibility and obtain necessary support. Continually interacting with partners and subject matter experts from various functional domains to ideate, gather, and enhance the product backlog.
  • Supports Sales and Marketing Activities: Align product launch activities with marketing activities through the respective go-to-market channel agreed with product leadership and GTM stakeholders.  Identify the key benefits and value of products and promote them. This will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).
  • Market Knowledge: Keep up to speed on the digital agriculture landscape both internally and externally; understanding market trends and influencing factors. Maintain a working knowledge on key competitors and their products, including key value proposition, target audience and market impact. Be recognised as an expert on the Product and share the story and vision of Cropwise both internally and externally.
  • Collaboration with Engineering: Speak thoughtfully with engineers and help make technical trade-offs when building products and features. Shape solutions by modelling domains and estimating roughly the size and difficulty of new developments.
