Developer - Front End

Syngenta is in search of a Frontend React.js Engineer to enhance their team. The role involves crafting web apps with React, utilizing server-side JSON restful services. Collaboration with the team to grasp functionality and devise innovative frontend solutions for optimal user experiences is paramount. Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and efficiently is a key aspect of the role, alongside being a cooperative team member. Adherence to best practices to construct maintainable, high-performing applications is essential.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years in Frontend Development
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with ReactQuery/Redux toolkit
• Knowledge of HTTP, Browser, and build tools like Webpack, Parcel, esbuild, or vite
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and client-side performance
• Experience with unit/e2e tests using Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Mocha
• Familiarity with LESS, SCSS, CSS Modules, and basic NodeJS
• Proficiency in git for version control
• Commitment to continuous learning

Nice to Have:

• Experience in developing and maintaining UI libraries with Storybook
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
