Job description

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions for agricultural applications using Java and AWS.
  • Take full ownership of features from ideation to deployment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Champion best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
  • Lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Integrate and optimize cloud-native services such as Amazon SQS, SNS, Lambda, and other AWS services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and applying them to solve real-world agricultural challenges.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based backend development, with a strong grasp of object-oriented design and microservices architecture.
  • Proven expertise in AWS technologies including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and Amazon SQS.
  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a must.
  • Experience with Python and data-driven applications is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset with a bias for action.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
