Customer Marketing Lead

To support that challenge, the Marketing Team is currently seeking a Customer Marketing Lead. In this role you will be accountable for the development and implementation of customer targeted strategies, campaigns and tactics at the grower and channel level in support of the business goals. You will also be a key collaborator with Marketing, Commercial Sales and Key Account Management to drive offer development and customer engagement.

This position is an 18 month fixed-term contract position that is covering a parental leave.  This role can be based in Calgary, AB, and we are open to remote work arrangements across Canada, with preference given to candidates in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. 

Duties:

• Understand grower needs and utilize customer segmentation to help deliver positive customer experience and engagement that enhances loyalty and brand adoption.
• Lead Campaign planning process to develop the objectives and strategies to achieve business goals.
• Set direction to the Canadian Business to guide positioning, messaging and activities to help achieve the campaign goals.
• Interpretation of market dynamics and market intelligence to develop deep understanding of the channel and competition.
• Establish and track agreed-to market share and contribution objectives.
• Key collaborator with Marketing Operations on the tactic implementation plan.
• Set direction and provide market context to Branding and Content on materials needed to support the tactical plans.
• Work with the Program Lead for the development of  programs (broad and targeted).

• 20-25% Travel majority in Western Canada

Required:

• Minimum B.Sc. in the Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing/Communications or related field.
• 5+ years of Strategic Sales and/or Customer Marketing experience within the Agriculture industry.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of crop protection products.
