Role purpose 

This is an internship position for a communications undergraduate to hone skills in writing and designing for different media, research and organizing, executing programs, and building interpersonal relationships for collaboration and teamwork 

 

Accountabilities 

  • Research and writing for newsletters, communications campaigns & programs 
  • Designing multi-media collateral including social media 
  • Organizing meetings e.g. focus groups, brainstorming 
  • Coordinating, executing and implementing projects, e.g. employee engagement communications 
  • This role contributes to a small, creative team of communicators and has an impact on local and regional communications 
  • Intern will be empowered and work in an extremely collaborative environment within Comms and across the company 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities  

  • Commitment of 5-6 month full-time internship from Jan 202 to Jun 2023 
  • Candidates who are able to start earlier or plan to do a part-time internship are also welcomed 
  • Undergraduate with a background in Communications studies or Social Sciences 
  • Preferably with some working experience (including internships)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Creative individual with multi-media design skills for posters, videos, and social media 
  • Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word & Excel, Teams) 
  • Proactive and independent learner 
  • Background in Adobe software will be advantageous but not required
