Role purpose:

Reporting to the EAME Production Manager Veg Seeds, you ensure the timely, accurate and reliable management of seeds multiplication process orders and related purchase orders in line with the global vendor plan.

The position is offered on a permanent contract, based in France/Les Ponts-de-Cé (49).

Exceptional business travel required, in Europe (meeting, visit, workshop...).

Starting date: February 2023.

Accountabilities:

You are responsible to manage the SAP grower/vendor contracts.

It includes all the inbound streams for the multiplication process for the site(s) in scope in EAME, for Basic and Multiplied seeds, for different vegetable crop programs.

You manage stock transfer and purchases orders (breeder seeds, third party genetics purchases).

For the multiplied seeds, you ensure all incoming information is complete and in line with requirements, e.g., Phyto certificates and other documents.

You pro-actively manage priorities in deliveries from vendors to the site(s) based on planning requirements. And communicate major deviations (alert function) on the VPR to the Seed Production Planners and Processing & Logistic Planners.

You arrange basic seeds shipments to growing location from the site(s) in scope.

Check all necessary documents for validity and completeness and assure vendor contracts are available for authorization (signing).

Organize and maintain an adequate archive system for contracts, invoices, conform legal requirements and to internal control framework (SAP & other internal Data bases).

You update and verify Vendor Progress reporting (VPR) information in SAP (reports/forecasts sent by technical staff…, for Sales department).

Manage vendor invoices verification process, check towards contracts and agreements (Quantity, Quality and Price). Ensure that payment is in line with procedures and authorizations.

Support the process for final payments and bonus calculations for the management.

Provides input for Master Data towards Received Level for the site(s) in scope and maintain all master data of vendors and growers.

Give regular costs, quantity, and quality updates towards management on multiplication.

Contributes to the process of continuous improvement of the planning process (management of non-Conformities, process review...).

Finally, you assist your manager and the technical team on the administrative part (meetings, reports, organization of events/workshops, follow-up of action plans & status of actions...).


Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor/Master degree Supply management or Administration, with 3 years’ experience minimum, in planning and production assistant.

You have good knowledge of SAP and Pack Office.

You are a real facilitator and a good communicant, organized and rigorous.

Professional English required to work in our multicultural organization (meetings, emails, documents).

Professional French required to manage partners, growers, and operations teams.

Site not accessible by public transport.
