This role is the final stage of our Invoice to Pay process and holds the accountability for ensuring we process payments on time to our suppliers as per payment run schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Payment controls to ensure correct inclusion of payments in automated runs twice a week for normal payments and daily for any urgent payment.
  • Execute payment runs as per desktop procedures and ensure payments are processed as per internal controls required.
  • Perform Manual payments through different Bank Portals (Tax, Government, Foreign, etc), follow up payment approvals with Bank Signatories.
  • Payment registration in local ERPs for any manual payment activity.
  • Payment Forecast & Reports. Ensure along with Treasury team, sufficient funds in Bank accounts to effectively release payments. Perform Payment reports as per process/country specifics.
  • Interact with other areas and functions (Treasury, O2C, A2R, TAX) in order to align and improve Payment deliverables.
  • Support I2P Regional and Global Projects, perform tests, requirement validation and UAT.
  • Support internal /external audits and ensure timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.
  • Responsible for Bank reconciliation of all I2P accounts, identify & propose Action Plans for clearing open items.
  • Other ad hoc tasks (any urgent situation payment related).
  • Provide suitable support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency in relevant processes.
  • Work alongside the AFO team in order to improve the region’s KPIs
  • Standardize the processes within operation teams of payments (BOI, rejections & Backups).
  • Ensure effective controls to avoid duplicate payments.
  • Ensure high levels of Compliance in I2P.

Qualifications

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Certified Accountant or Administration graduate or advanced student.
  • Minimum 2-year experience in similar positions
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft package.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Collaboration and Team Player
  • Effective time and priority management.

 Desirable

  • Knowledge of Vendor Invoice Management system.
  • Power BI skills
  • International Bank platform experience
  • SAP
