Role Purpose

  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and other related Business Improvement initiatives across all functions in the country with more focus on Seed Production Operations.
  • Lead the implementation of Productivity Improvement Projects on the site and ensure to reach the committed savings.
  • Responsible for the implantation of Management Discipline (Visual Performance Management, Tiered Meetings, Leader Standard Work, 5S, and SPK) in Seed Operations
  • Conduct pieces of training related to Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma (Yellow and Green Belt Trainings)
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Productivity in Seed Development and Commercial (20% of the time)
  • Performs a variety of tasks relating to the operation and other duties as tasks by his Supervisor/Manager

Accountabilities

  • Conduct Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt Trainings
  • Conduct training for Management Discipline
  • Conduct training for Loss and Waste Awareness and Productivity improvement projects
  • Conduct coaching for trained LSS belts
  • Monitor the progress of productivity improvement projects.
  • Complete tasks assigned to APAC LSS networks such as updating the LSS Digital Hub Sharepoint, Dashboard, and LSS Smartsheet Tracker
  • Monitor the implementation of  Management Discipline across the site
  • Monitor and update the site's KPI

Critical success factors & key challenges

  • Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma and other LEAN tools
  • Training skills
  • Accuracy and reliability of plan and execution
  • Communication and coordination with stakeholders

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

 

  • Graduate of atleast 4 year course in Business Management or Engineering.
  • 2-3 year experience in Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence
  • QMS and HSE knowledge
  • A good Team Player.
  • Ability to communicate effectively English
  • If required, may be expected to work beyond regular timing, which may include weekends/holidays
  • Good positive working Attitude.
  • Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma (Blackbelt Trained or Certified)
  • Knowledge in Smartsheet, Power BI, Microsoft apps
  • Relevant multi-national working exposure
  • Production process know-how of the industry
