A2R Operations Accountant

We are looking for an ambitious A2R Operations Accountant in our Account-to-Report (A2R) department. You will be part of a team of professionals working to ensure the correctness, timely submission and substantiation of financial reporting in line with group IFRS and local requirements. You will have the opportunity to participate in various accounting and reporting tasks, shape our A2R processes and participate in many task improvement initiatives.

• Assure correctness, timeliness and proper substantiation of local accounts and submission into group reporting systems
• Participate in end to end accounting activities, including month-end close process, journal entries, reconciliations, allocations, producing associated analysis, and adhering to corporate timeline
• Assure correctness, timeliness of financial planning and analysis datasets in support of the FP&A Controlling and Business Facing Finance organizations
• Ensure effective and sustainable implementation of Internal Control Frameworks (ICF) and significant participation in Audits
• Active communication and maintaining strong work relationship with other departments
• Participate in the delivery of the A2R transformation agenda (including digital transformation, process improvement, automation etc.)
• Strong cross team support

You will be a great fit if you have:

• BSc/MSc degree in the field of Accounting/Finance
• 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in end-to-end accounting
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, statutory accounting and taxation
• Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Fluent English knowledge
