VAT Analyst

As a VAT Analyst, you will be part of our European VAT Team, which supports VAT and tax-related reporting in EAME.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

• Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns and other VAT related reports for European countries
• Reconciliation of indirect tax balance sheet accounts
• Support VAT process standardization projects
• Support month-end closing procedure
• Support the local businesses and other finance departments in VAT related matters
• Ensure internal and external control processes
• Support internal/external VAT audits
• Meet all reporting deadlines
• Support issue resolution

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Fluent English
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of European VAT and corresponding filing requirements
• Good stakeholder management
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Strong Excel and data analytics skill set
• SAP or equivalent ERP hands on knowledge is an advantage
• Attention to detail and administrative tasks
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Positive self-starter attitude, willing to learn new skills and understand the business
• Able and committed to meet deadlines and quality requirements
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as a team member
