Job description

Role purpose

Responsible for Co-developing channel activity with marketing and sales team and define growth strategies and driving execution to achieve targets at distributor, retailer, and grower (end-users) level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define Direct Sales Channel picture of success i.e. distribution, in-store merchandising, assortment, etc. to be in line with the brand strategies and communication message.
  • Work with distributor team (Sales & Marketing) to define channel activities
  • Manage all POSM, manage BTL budget within assigned region
  • Develop integrated activity calendar for the direct sales including NPI, in-store visibility, consumer, trade promotion, activation to deliver Channel target and gain market share
  • Responsible for Direct Sales Channel promotion and visibility activities based on budget allocated for each channels
  • Fully responsible for Trade promotion budget management for Direct Sales Channel
  • Conduct regular business analysis review for Direct Sales channel, campaign/launch tracking and propose learnings, action plan for improvement
  • Perform customer segmentation and develop relevant growth strategies to optimize spending
  • Continuously source, update and communicate latest developments, trends, initiatives and competitive actions in the channel, assessing implications/opportunities for the channel
  • Participate and input into monthly Demand, S&OP meeting
  • Manages and Deliver Financial Commitments

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

  • The position requires good knowledge of trade marketing and sales background in FMCG. Have experience in Traditional Trade management is a must. Agricultural work experience is a plus.

Critical experience

  • Bachelor in Marketing degree
  • Minimum 7 years experience in sales of agricultural / FMCG products or traditional trade marketing is preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • A track record of Trade Marketing, Sales Operation management
  • Experience in Sales, Trade Marketing or Brand Marketing

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • English Communication

Critical leadership capabilities

  • Advanced stakeholder management skill is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Time management
  • Learning agility

Additional Information

  • Travel sometimes for field visiting
