To support that challenge, the Marketing team is currently seeking a Third Party Business Manager. In this role you will manage the licensing of active ingredients (In and Out) with adjacent and competitive manufacturers as well as manage the data protection process and coordinate with Product marketing, Legal, Regulatory and members of the Business Plan Review team (BPR).

 We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB or remotely across Canada. 

 Accountabilities:

  • Manage business relationship with select 3rd party accounts including; budgeting, pricing, forecasting and coordination with product leads and supporting functions; including global 3rd Party Team
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with key individuals in all functions of the business, including Product Management, and Commercial functions locally and regionally to evaluate new opportunities
  • Lead negotiation and manage end-to-end processes from term sheet to contract development and execution with key 3rd Party accounts
  • Ensure compliance with Syngenta contract management requirements   
  • Assist with Data Compensation claim preparation and negotiation strategy with and settlement agreements with generic registrants

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial strategy and/or leadership role
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business, agriculture or related field.  MBA is an asset
  • Sales management, strategic marketing, and product lifecycle management experience
  • Successful track record of introducing new business concepts and leading critical negotiations
  • Experience managing large scale projects with solutions that required financial analysis and risk taking to achieve objectives
