Location

Tamaulipas, Tampico

Assure the achievement of the sales targets for the assigned territory, generating on-field product demand and supporting key distributors daily. 

Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for the achievements of sales targets in the territory assigned according with strategies and priorities agreed. 
  • Is responsible of delivering specific support on integrated crop solutions to key farmers in the area directly and/or along with distributors and independent technicians; 
  • Is responsible for first-level distributor staff training on Valagro technology and solutions.  
  • Is responsible for organizing and executing local commercial initiatives managing demo trials, field days and local promotional activities. 
  • Is responsible for taking commercial orders from customers (if not centrally sent); 
  • Collects market information on dealers, retail locations, growers, prices, agronomical technical trends, etc. through Valagro internal KM and CRM systems. 
  • Monitors the respect of agreed price positioning. 
  • Is responsible for monthly rolling forecasts (if not in charge of Area Manager).

Qualifications

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in plant science, parasitology, soil science, or a related agricultural field
  • Technical and commercial experience with knowledge of plant nutrition, biologicals, and biostimulants for the crop protection business unit (Mandatory)
  • Team leadership experience (Mandatory)
  • Intermediate English
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset
  • Positive attitude
  • Proactivity
  • Ability to manage and empower a work team
  • Commercial strategy expertise
