  • Implementation to product strategy and tactics execution to meet the business and financial objectives
  • Portfolio technical support:
  1. Product positioning, most efficient application
  2. Trial program development, trial audit, trial result analysing
  3. Crop & product training materials creation for inner and external audience
  4. Regional technical team support in case customer claims on product performance, inlcuding field visiting and negotiations with client
  • Develop propriate indication  on further portfolio development:
  1. Define existent and anticipated portfolio gaps, suggest ideas and potential solutions based on product repositioning from existent portfolio, product selection from  Syngenta Worldwide portfolio and 3-rd party products in-licensing
  • Implement in partnership with colleagues from neighbouring functions to drive effective ways of working
  • Establish technical expertise and network required to drive successful Crop Marketing Plans, the Portolio decisions and the build of strong Brands
  • Drive Technical Launch Plans (TLPs) for NPI’s consolidating technical data (as gllobally availbale also from regions within area of responsibilities) to support proper technical positioning and technical stories essential for regular busines
  • Set direction for BU Field Technical Support protocols
  • Transfer best practices across BU
  • Ensure Syngenta is perceived by the technical community as ‘Thought Leader’
  • Lead Technical Meetings over the annual cycle

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with multiple tasks, cross functions
  • Knowledge in Diverse Field Crops agricultural practices, mainly Soy, Sunflower, Canola and Oil Seed Rape
  • Deep knowledge in Plant protection, with detailed anderstanding in weed control
  • Experience in the agricultural industry (more than 3 years)
  • Experience on technical positions in CP producers perceived as a strength
  • Knowledge in portfolio management
  • Experience in crop growing and technologies and their contribution to the financial drivers of a grower’s business
  • Based analytical and project management skills
  • Verbal and written English
  • Higher education in agriculture, with specialization in plant protection
  • Ph D in relevant area not obligatory, but perceived as a strength
