Supply Planning & Operations Officer (Fixed Term Contract)

Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

  • To support & work in tendon with Manager Supply Planning to ensure availability of Veg. Seeds at the right time and location through inventory management, coordinating with stakeholders, and optimizing the flow of Veg. Seeds to meet the agreed S&OP plans while controlling costs.
  • Coordination with effective communication on inventory availability & timely inventory allocation across Warehouses and Order-management teams
  • Enable efficient supply visibility and availability to our internal & external customers

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support Supply Planning Manager by providing inputs for S&OP and MBR meetings
  • Coordination with stakeholders to maintain and update Material Master data in the system (SAP)
  • Responsible for day-to-day inventory management for commercial usage with respect to volume (at WH level), Quality and usability (including Quality and Packing condition)
  • Coordinate with Quality Department for timely recurrence Test completion to make decisions for the availability of Inventory for Invoices
  • Coordinate with Packing Team and Lead for all the packing activities as per the mandated quality standards
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Quality team to manage all types of Sales Returns as per the mandated quality & storage guidelines
  • Coordinate with Logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the required capacities for the stocking of incoming inventories.
  • Create POs as per Import Plan Given by Supply Planning Manager and coordinate with Logistics and Finance for timely completion of documents from import till Shipment Clearance
  • Coordinate for all the Non-conformties of shipments register in system , coordinate for RCA and make sure to implements corrective actions
  • Follow up and Coordinate with Logistics team for timely shipment clearance from Customs
  • Maintaining track record of each shipment’s real time status
  • Coordinate for Samples imports from other countries

Qualifications

  • Graduation in Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences & Business Administration
  • Master’s degree in any discipline, Supply Chain or Management will be preferred
  • Understanding or ERP & hands on knowledge of Materials Management
  • Basic knowledge of Production, Planning, Logistics, Basic Plant operations and customer services
  • 1-2 Year Combine experience of Production Plant, Warehousing, Supply Planning
