Supply Planner

  1. SE Production Operations
  2. Enkhuizen
  3. Syngenta Seeds

Job description

Into Action

If you are going to work as a Supply Planner, you will be part of a diverse team. In this role you will coordinate the supply plan execution over the next 3-18 months, to satisfy customer orders on requested delivery date as agreed per approved regional sales plan. The Supply Planner delivers an on-going up-to-date valid plan and ensures accurate and timely execution of the midterm planning activities, balancing supply and demand from untreated seeds to enhanced seeds. You will set priorities and resources, manage exceptions, and provide options to meet availability and phasing issues. The supply planner coordinates the information flow on availability with the Crop Planner, farms, distribution hubs and Customer Service. You will manage this in collaboration with different departments across the globe.

The Challenge

As a Supply planner you are aware of how the internal and external environment is affecting the products you are planning. On a daily basis you will be dealing with demand changes and uncertainties which make it challenging to ensure the delivery of sales. During the process you will control inventory levels and take timely action if necessary. You will take ownership of problems and try to solve them as good as possible. You’ll be in charge of monthly controlling the demand consumption and supply performance. The planner also identifies and resolves imbalances in demand and supply. As a Supply planner you act as primary contact for enquiries for assigned crops and you will develop, maintain and execute the seed enhancement plan.
