As senior ERP Transformation & Implementation Program Lead you will:  

  • Perform SAP ERP migration, implementation and transformation leadership to regional and local country teams.
  • Enroll, counsel and partner with executive level leaders, functional and operational leaders on the ERP implementation approach, management system and success measures
  • Implement and embed significant SAP ERP driven changes in business capabilities and operations that deliver benefits associated with the program to agreed timelines, budget, scope and quality.
  • Mobilise and inspire delivery teams across the organisation and 3rd party providers, to build commitment, proactively support program plans, objectives and delivery timelines.
  • Assure awareness of, and engagement with, other functions, countries, projects and programs across the enterprise, to ensure value creation and maximise return on investment.  
  • Understand, characterize and shape customer, country, functional and global requirements associated with the ERP program scope and factor into the development of the program implementation approach, scope, plans and objectives.
  • Drive professional and effective program management for assigned initiatives using industry recognised methodologies and other relevant tools/techniques, ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Define program organization, delivery teams and work-breakdown structures needed to deliver the scope of work. Where necessary, run multiple implementation programs across different geogrpahies simultaniously
  • Mobilise and inspire key resources and leaders to join the program or individual project streams.
  • Own the definition of funding requirements to be secured by the Sponsor, managing budgets and monitoring costs and benefits as the scope of work progresses
  • Ensure the individual stream plans are effectively defined, planned and aligned to the goals of the program. Coordinate all projects within the program and their inter-dependencies either directly or through program workstream leads.
  • Report the progress of the program to the Steering Team and Senior Responsible Owners at regular intervals and manage communication with stakeholders network.
  • Drive effective governance including monitoring, tracking and reporting of risks, issues and dependencies
  • Manage changes in direction, scope, costs, timing and all program level risks, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the program and develop the environment to support each individual project
  • Maximise the efficient allocation of resources and skills, managing the performance of the program team and suppliers.
  • Ensure good working relationships are maintained between global, regional and country program team members as well as other involved functions (P&S, Commercial, Digital, IT, Finance, and external service providers).
  • Ensure active sponsorship, resolution of escalations and timely approvals through key program decision gates

Qualifications

  • University or technical high school degree
  • Crop Protection Industry Experience (10-15 years), ideally inclusive of a Seeds Business Operations
  • Senior IT professional with at least 10 – 15yrs experience in the industry
  • ERP (SAP) Program leadership experience (direct & indirect reporting)
  • Experience in roles at country/territory/region desirable with a proven track record of successful ERP delivery.
  • Experience in different functions sufficient to allow appreciation/understanding of the business and the identification of critical business operational areas
  • ERP strategy development and deployment
  • Financial, P&S, data & Business Acumen
