ROLE PURPOSE

  • To own full responsibility and manage customer relationship for assigned key account customers
  • To gain deeper understanding of their business needs and develop customized offers that build a successful and sustainable business partnerships

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintenance and execution of long term (strategic) customer development plans
  • Deliver sales targets and other KPIs with KAs
  • Execution of sales contracts with main channel KAs, leading negotiation in line with Syngenta boundaries
  • Accountable for forecasting/planning and accounts receivable
  • Accountable for cross-function creation and execution of specific offers
  • Coordinates with Area Sales Managers and Marketing team to deploy resources
  • Create and execute KA plans and campaigns, aligned with country campaign plans
  • Monitors seeds market environment and trends
  • Manages overall account relationship and leads, coordinates all main activities (contracts, stewardship, services) of its key accounts across the country.
  • Implement segmentation strategies and target offers to compliment segmentation strategies
  • Plans and monitors the KA supply situation
  • Understands the value chain, propose to Sales Head strategy to fully exploit the value chain and deploy resources as necessary in order to deliver targets
  • Ensure that company policies are well understood and implemented by the sales teams and where necessary by customers
  • Critical role to drive Syngenta growth with Key Account customers in the country
  • Manage and develop relation with peers and other functions and provides strong functional leadership
  • Represents Syngenta and its product/ service portfolio in a professional and competent manner
  • Follow-up of the clients’ satisfaction subsequently to the sales season’s end
  • Ensures compliance with local legislation and competition laws
  • Defend and promote the image of Syngenta, its offer and services
  • Build solid and professional relationship based on recognized expertise and trust with customers and influencers.
  • Propose, develop and deliver spcific technical and commercial trainings for channel distributors’ fieldforce, with support from marketing and technical teams

Qualifications
