Seeds HSE, Sustainability and Risk Global Program Manager

We are currently seeking a Seeds HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), Sustainability, and risk Global Program Manager in Downers Grove, IL.  

You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by: 

• Developing and leading new initiatives and change management strategies in cross functional teams by: Performing current state analysis, identifying gaps and needs, and defining current and to-be organization/ business processes and capabilities; Assessing and managing risk
• Developing, integrating, and driving data-driven reporting / dashboards, (strategic and impactful) communication, investment planning, and capability development planning in Sustainability, HSE and Risk Management 
• Provide direct management of the global program to ensure successful implementation of all relevant program goals; manage scope plan and delivery and budget, including:
• Support leader and team engagement to build ownership and engagement
• Value Mapping to link to business outcomes and strategy
• Benefits Management to ensure targets are mapped and delivered

Accountabilities  

• Sustainability
• Integrated operational reporting owner 
• Internal communications management 
• Strategic KPI reporting, including visualization 
• Business case development and reporting for investment
• Sustainability hub management
• Capability development programs management

Risk Management/Program Management

• Supports risk reporting and dashboards
• Single point of contact for functional and regional risk reviews
•  Connection for Syngenta Group reporting
• Support development of business continuity plans and processes for Syngenta Group
• Work with partners to build business cases and documentation for key initiatives
• Work with functional project sponsors and finance teams to document, validate and track costs and benefits of initiatives
• Support implementation and sustainability or priority initiatives through tracking against agreed milestones
• Lead and support reporting, visualization and tracking of program benefits, opportunities, and challenges to support full awareness of status

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

• Owner of Global Seeds HSE Initiatives Dashboard
• Program lead for Seeds HSE Working Group
• Program lead for audit and cross-site assessments, and risk assessments

Requirements 

• Program and project management 5y+
• Communication and engagement with senior stakeholders and leadership team 5y+ 
• Experience in data management / reporting preferred
• Finance acumen and budget management experience preferred
• Ability to deliver in a cross cultural environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, ability to anticipate issues early – responsible for delivery
• Ability to travel 20-30%
