Job description

To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Crop Protection Commercial Team is currently seeking a remote Program Specialist.

Role Purpose:

In this role, the individual will be responsible for the execution and a key contributor for the development and fulfillment of Syngenta loyalty reward programs. Accurately process reward payments for eligible customers, ensuring compliance with Syngenta's policies and procedures. Verify eligibility criteria, validate claim submissions, and issue payments through approved channels. Identifying opportunities for process optimization and system improvements related to reward payment processing and customer service.

Accountabilities:

  • Proven experience in customer service, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with diverse customer groups.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams on program development to drive the Syngenta strategy.
  • Identify and develop the program redemption process by establishing a redemption plan and obtaining approval for the plan from program stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement streamlined processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and support on programs and systems for internal and external parties.
  • Manage customer data (master data, house holding, invoice mapping) for the purpose of program redemption.
  • Calculate and issue reward payments according to program qualification criteria and within committed timelines.
  • Develop and implement robust audit processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reward payments.
  • Resolve payment inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit reports to relevant stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required skills:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Agriculture preferred.
  • Experience in data analytics; YOY analysis and developing insights.
  • General knowledge of financial processes.
  • Good understanding of data management processes and dataflow, marketing programs and offers.
  • Good understanding of the company portfolio, competitive products, as well as current and emerging agricultural practices and trends in the seed and crop protection industries.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operational or finance role, preferably one that required a high degree of accuracy, data analysis and attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Salesforce, SAP) and an understanding of data management processes and systems.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual (French/English) would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent team orientation, with the ability to present ideas and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to effectively interact across functional groups to achieve desired results
  • Excellent planning, organization and project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
