Role Purpose

  • Ensure execution of the Biostimulants product strategy and tactics to meet the business and financial objectives of the territory
  • Market Analysis, Planning and Strategy development with relevant Above Region colleagues
  • Actively manage the lifecycle of the portfolio
  • Ensure price positioning and is value maximizing across the portfolio
  • Overview of the branding strategy for the product portfolio

Here is how this role will be critical to our business:

  • Lead New Product Introduction,launches in the territory in line with relevant crop and indication strategy (from Above Region); aligns with CU of Territory Launch Plans
  • Regularly engage with customers and CU colleagues to develop market knowledge. Support Above Region and Territory R&D with up- to-date customer insights.
  • Lead sales penetration of key brands being the point of contact (In Territory/ Above Region). Monitor and manage the portfolio´s brand equity.
  • Focus on maximizing full portfolio (Sales / profitability) over each lifecycle including range management, value pricing and price/volume analysis accordinding to key brand plans.
  • Provide guidance to México and Centro América on Campaign Management and agree on high level tactics, ensure implementation.
  • Evaluate portfolio gaps and lead discussion to fill gaps with Global or 3rd party products.
  • Build business cases for new products and solution ideas.
  • Reinforce our security priority leading the adoption of our HSE requirements

Qualifications

It is indispensable for this position:

  • 5 + years’ experience in the Biostimulants & Nutrition industry
  • Degree in Agriculture
  • Extensive knowledge of business principles such as marketing, finance, leadership, with emphasis on Marketing and Sales Excellence
  • Knowledge of government regulations and industry codes to ensure compliance, training needs and that appropriate processes and standards are in place in alignment to the broader business
  • Previous line management or marketing experience
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Communicates with impact
  • Leads change and holds ambiguity
  • Builds a culture of innovation
  • Focuses on customers
