You will help shape the future of agriculture by: 

  • To support operations functions (Harvest) processes, materials and supplies in the field and be able to manage crews and crew leaders. 

Accountabilities  

  • Responsible for managing a given area with approximately three crews during season.
  • Responsible for execution of daily and weekly harvest in your area.
  • Accountable for harvest and quality training.
  • Leading a team of crew leaders, mostly third party employees.
  • Hourly communication on crew’s performance compared to expectations.
  • Responsible for monitoring, coaching and encouraging the crews on performance.
  • Communication with each individual harvester’s performance and their progress.
  • Responsible to advice managers for any disciplinary actions.
  • Responsible for enforcing systems, policies, and procedures in your area of responsibilities.
  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; in your area of responsibilities.
  • Control and observe personnel and resources required for your area a head of time;
  • Give harvest scheduling to your manager and assigning personnel to accomplish the work as required
  • Monitor harvest and crop maintenance progress and revise the schedules in your area in communication with your manager.
  • Maintain cuttings quality standards by enforcing Wows and protocols.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all HSE standards,
  • Work with other third party supervisors and crew leaders.
  • Responsible to maintain the right resources and equipment’s, required for your area.
  • Responsible for the management and integrity of data collection in your area

Qualifications

Requirements 

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
  • Active knowledge in managing crews is a plus.
  • Competent work skills with scanners and tablets is desired
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
  • 100% working outdoors under various weather conditions.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
