Production Technician

Operate production equipment in a safe manner and produce products that meet quality specifications. Typical duties include preparing equipment for operation, operating equipment, monitoring equipment, logging data, analytical sampling, maintenance preparation and minor maintenance on equipment. Equipment includes pumps, reactors, tanks, and clarifiers. Also participate in plant safety, environmental, and production committees as required.

Duties:

• Provide all product and quality demands without production curtailment.
• Coordinate waste management issues with waste coordinator and others as necessary.
• Participate actively on unit TPR Team.
• Develop and/or recommend proposals to improve efficiency, HSE performance, and reduce costs through the OpEx Idea program.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the unit.
• May be required to participate on Emergency Response Teams.

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Production operations experience preferred
• Shift work required, rotating days and nights
• 24/7/365 operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• PTech degree preferred
