Product360 Data Platform Product Owner

Through leading innovations, we help farmers around the world meet the challenge of feeding a growing population and taking care of our planet. We are currently seeking a Product Owner-Product360 Data Platform in Durham, NC, Malta/Downers Grove, IL or remote. 
The Product360 data platform within Seeds R&D plays a key role in our data strategy and supports critical product development processes and decisions such as advancements through pipeline stages, supply chain traceability, and regulatory compliance. Using world-class engineering and machine learning techniques, this data platform enables fully connected product pipeline and business intelligence at scale. The Data Platform Product Owner (PO) is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of the platform capabilities. 

Accountabilities

• Own the strategy and product roadmap for the data platform that manages, curates, and delivers high-quality data and services. Collaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to understand user needs and define platform features that are aligned with our strategic goals.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, UX engineers, and other subject matter experts to execute the roadmap and support solutions delivered to our business partners.
• Define and maintain metrics that describe the performance and quality of our data and the data platform.
• Continuous stakeholder outreach and education on how the platform's capabilities can be utilized by various digital products and services in the ecosystem.

• Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience delivering production-scale data and ML systems as a domain product owner.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on strategic data-centric product initiatives from concept to production.
• You are excited about using data and understand Ag product domains to build the world’s largest content knowledge graph.
• You have a deep understanding on how to track material through a product development pipeline.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business intuition into data-driven hypotheses that result in impactful engineering solutions.
• Experience working with graph data models (RDF, Property), databases (Amazon Neptune, Neo4J), or graph query languages (Gremlin, SPARQL, Cypher) is a plus.
• Experience in Natural Language Processing techniques for entity resolution, disambiguation, and linking, along with experience in Graph ML are pluses.
• Having conducted research and published peer-reviewed articles in the field (NLP, Graph ML, Knowledge Graphs) is a plus.
