We are currently seeking a Product Safety Digital Delivery Lead to drive the agile delivery of PS Data and Digital initiatives by working with the PS Digital Lead, project concept owners, users, and stakeholders to deliver business value by providing strategic project management.

 

Accountabilities

  • Works with PS Digital Lead and technical experts to understand and cross-functionally connect PS business (scientific and/or operational) strategic needs, opportunities, priorities and use cases.

  • Working with the Business Analyst (BA), translates the business needs into clearly defined and prioritized projects.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and works across functions (i.e., Regulatory, IT, TDI and others) to deliver project goals.

  • Obtains sponsorship and commitment by PS leaders, functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and use case owners to drive discrete digital and data projects within PS

  • With IT, collates data and business requirements, e.g., current and desired data flows, IT dependencies, security, complexity, quality, data curation and harmonization needs, utilization needs and assessment of downstream impact/value.

  • Within the PS Data Domain, supports the design and implementation of seamless, end-to-end, automated data flows – from data generation to capture, storage, processing, and data exploitation, to ensure findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) and reliable downstream data products

  • Defines, measures, and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the adoption and impact of digital and data driven initiatives within the PS data domain

  • Forges networks of SMEs, data consumers, and experts in the R&D functions to drive engagement and adoption of new ways of working

  • Works with other Digital Delivery Leads to explore, design, align and deliver innovative, cross-functional, cross-domain data use cases in an agile fashion

  • Champions the use of our data platform, data domains and data products. Works with data experts and digital leads to share best practices, drive utilization and exploitation of the data domains and platforms

  • Champions and promotes a data-centric, data-driven culture across all levels and roles in CP Product Safety.  Drives organizational change with designated change leads.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a PS Technical Platform with deep scientific/technical expertise in a PS area (Early-Stage Research (ESR), Human Safety (HS), Environmental Sciences (ES), Product Metabolism & Analytical Sciences (PMAS) or Operations (Ops)

  • Specific PS experience related to processes and ways of working, data, analytics, technology, digital and their applications desired

  • Experience working on data/digital teams addressing transformational projects and/or related initiatives involving the implementation of data strategy and data management is a plus

  • Understanding of the data lifecycle (data extraction, capturing, storing, management, curation, harmonization, integration, and exploitation) capabilities

  • Good communication skills with leadership, scientific and technical teams

Preferred Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • University Master’s Degree, PhD preferred, in a STEM discipline

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and people skills. Knowledge of statistical analyses.

  • Skilled in interacting and communicating with internal and external customers and peers.

  • Strong organizational skills to complete large field programs

  • Successful interaction with peers and technical management
