We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead our high throughput phenotyping (HTP) product line. Will only consider candidates that have a deep background in agricultural sciences, phenotyping technologies, and agile product management. As the HTP Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of our phenotyping products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and advance our company's goals.

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the HTP product line.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company objectives and market demands.

SAFe Agile Product Development:

  • Lead the agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product engineering, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and customers, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer feedback and inquiries regarding the HTP product line.
  • Conduct customer interviews and surveys to gather insights and validate product concepts.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, demos, and training to customers and internal teams.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against them.
  • Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality and user experience.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry experts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in agricultural science, biology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of high throughput phenotyping (HTP) technologies and their applications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically in the agricultural technology sector.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
