Principal Team Leader Process Analytical Technology (f/m/d)

Role Purpose:

• Drives the implementation of alternative techniques for analysis and control of processes.
• Leads and drives a local PAT strategy and team to establish PAT capabilities in manufacturing, contribute to build sustainable PAT capabilities globally.
• Manages and prioritizes PAT projects.

Accountabilities:

• Leads local PAT activities, defining and developing local capabilities and direction in line with global PAT strategy and seeking for application opportunities.
• Manages PAT team (setting priorities, evaluation performance, supporting development, managing time and attendance).
• Ensures high standards within the team in terms of ways of working, HSEQ, and documentation.
• Connects with, and influences, stakeholders across the organization.
• Contributes to functional foresight programs and drives external collaboration.
• Maintains a strong network of vendors, academics, as well as internal and external partner.
• Defines and adapts ways of working on local and global level.
• Trains and mentors Process Technology Engineers and Chemist in areas of PAT.

• Msc or PhD in chemistry, process engineering or analytical area with a focus on PAT-relevant techniques and concepts.  
• Strong expertise in PAT scientific areas.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in an area of PAT.
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, analytics and quality control.
• Proven experience in project management.
• English fluent, French is an asset.
