In Action

In this role, you will oversee in-season demand control for young plants in the EAME region, managing short to mid-term demand (2-12 months) and supporting the EAME Demand Managers with long-term projections (1-5 years) to secure our customer orders and minimize costs. You’ll also lead improvement programs to ensure accurate, efficient processes within Flowers Operations.

 

The Challenge

Your tasks include monitoring sales to align with the plan, adjusting short-term demand, and coordinating with Cutting- and Global Seed Operations to maintain accurate demand figures. You’ll review forecasts, ensure demand accuracy, collaborate with Sales & Marketing to manage last-minute changes and work with Supply Planning to address supply issues. You'll also report KPIs and ensure timely project delivery.

 

Success in this role requires accuracy, quick stakeholder engagement and proactive communication. You need to be service-oriented, analytical and skilled at handling large data sets. Collaboration and understanding of end-to-end processes are crucial.

Qualifications

The Profile

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field, fluency in English, and at least three years of experience in business analytics or demand/supply chain management. Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI is essential, along with strong problem-solving, multitasking and interpersonal skills.

The role also requires leadership in customer focus, determined execution, long-term thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement.
