Location: Santiago, Chile

Role purpose

  • Lead the commercial strategy of the company and its implementation in Chile, aligned with the territorial and global strategy.
  • Provide marketing information to the area of ​​territorial and global marketing.
  • Work in a coordinated manner with the different business and R&D areas of the company to generate the strategies and their implementation.
  • Lead the strategy of the most important crop segments in Chile; Fruits and vines, Field crops and vegetables.
  • Lead the strategy of the 20 most important crops in Chile.

Accountabilities

 

  • Ensure a work aligned with the Director of the Commercial Unit of Chile to develop and implement the marketing strategy according to local, territorial and global guidelines.
  • Ensure interaction with the rest of the areas for the design and successful implementation of the strategies.
  • Lead the team in charge of developing their skills and talents.
  • Work together with your team to identify the needs of the clients, the key advisors, the distribution chain and the stakeholders involved in order to ensure the correct bases to define and implement new solutions.

Qualifications

Critical knowledge

  • Finished knowledge of the Fruit Market, Market of Crops and Vegetable Market.
  • Knowledge of Marketing (ideally some post title).
  • Experience in technical areas (seeds, phytosanitary products and biological products), in marketing and in the services that support the business (seed treatment, equipment calibration, integrated pest management).

Critical experience

  • Experience in the commercial area.
  • Experience in  marketing techniques.

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • English (advanced)
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Anticipate market changes.
  • Knowledge of the Syngenta products offered in Chile and the market. Knowledge of "post patent Strategies"
  • Understanding the needs of customers.
  • Ecommerce, Marketing Digital. CRM
