Job description

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Planning Regional Team is seeking a Supply Chain Planner Lead (LATAM) in Montevideo.

The Supply Planning Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating supply chain planning activities across the region, driving operational excellence to secure optimal product availability while maximizing business performance and ensuring alignment with Syngenta's strategic objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and lead the regional planning team to drive LATAM sales execution
  • Plan strategic Active Ingredients (AIs), bulks, and Finished Goods (FGs) across HERB and IN portfolio
  • Stock Not Moving (SNM) and blocked stock management, driving team actions to maintain optimal stock control
  • Act as key user for events management, ensuring proper event creation, monitor, and approval processes
  • Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address performance gaps
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • Professional degree in Business Administration, Engineering. Other degrees may be applicable.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in P&S, Planning, with Advanced knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Relevant experience in Leading People
  • Fluent in Spanish & English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Excellence in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Experience with advanced planning systems
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Project management expertise
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Change management experience
  • Risk management understanding
  • Cross-cultural communication abilities
