As part of our activities in Frankfurt a. M. Germany, Syngenta is looking for a:

Market Development Manager Biostimulants (m/f/d) DACH

Role purpose:

The Market Development Manager develops the new Biostimulants market segment in close collaboration with the Commercial DACH Team, drives and implements the Syngenta DACH Biostimulant strategy and campaign to ensure that the resources allocation is aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities/main tasks:

  • Ensure technical and marketing support for launch of Biostimulant products in the DACH market.
  • Adapt EU Biostimulants strategy to the local requirements; convert into an actionable launch campaign.
  • Coordinate the Biostimulant communication trough SMS Marketing Manager and set cross crop priorities.
  • Pre-launch market analysis and post-launch product performance evaluation.
  • Define the local product positioning in close collaboration with the European team and other CU’s and demonstrate its fit to local market needs.
  • Ensure CU/BA needs are covered in early stages to prepare successful NPIs.
  • Lead the relationship with the (official and private) national advisors and research institutes.
  • Lead grower, channel & value chain segmentation process.
  • Act as the go-to person in country to identify opportunities for introducing new marketing approaches.
  • Interaction with key stakeholders in the channel
  • Support KAM of strategic partners in the channel
  • Preparation and execution of campaigns for the biostimulants segment, focus Germany

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience expected:

  • Degree in agronomy with strong marketing knowledge.
  • Fluency in German & English (verbal and written).
  • Strong technical experience in Biostimulants and/or Fertilizer Business.
  • 3-5 years’ experience of the agri-business sector in Marketing, Sales and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of the German market.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with understanding of market dynamics and competitive environment.
  • Ability to use market research effectively to understand and anticipate changes in the market and adjust strategies.
