Role Purpose 

  • Provides overall engineering maintenance planning and scheduling support including contract maintenance and the planning of PM, PPM, Corrective maintenance, overhauls during scheduled shut-down, and yearly to weekly -based planned work.
  • Ensure safety engineering activities in coordination of labour resources, equipment, parts and materials to support the engineering function in the areas of breakdown, preventative, predictive and condition-based maintenance for both operation equipment and facilities.
  • Provide and ensure operational maintenance engineering compliance with all mandatory government regulations & Syngenta requirements.
  • Response PTW & SAP system
  • Response spare part & document & Tool management in engineering section
  • Support all document of engineering section for prepare audit ISO9001  

Accountabilities

  • Preventive maintenance task for all production machine, equipment and site supporting asset to ready in use.
  • Inspection, maintenance of site infrastructure.
  • Minimize the breakdown maintenance by using optimum maintenance techniques.
  • Carry out onsite engineering project work. Special engineering project assignment.
  • Propose the machine performance improvement, cost saving and initiative.
  • Effectively update and implement the job package, spare part & equipment list, plant drawing and documentation for the engineering work.
  • Effective cooperate and communicate with internal customer to understand the technical issues and problem solving.
  • Assign maintenance job to maintenance technicians and follow up completion within agreed timeline.
  • Supervise and develop maintenance technicians to achieve engineering function target.
  • Work as a leader to supervise external contractor.
  • Being site supporting member in emergency and/or decontamination team.
  • Ensure compliance of PTW process
  • Ensure tooling & equipment are 100% inspection before used as Engineering standard required

Qualifications

  • Working aligns with Syngenta Engineering maintenance policy & standard (EMPS), Syngenta Technical Engineering standard (TES).
  • Effective plan work and organize multiple task in a certain period of time.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical Knowledge

  • High vocational certification with experiences or Bachelor Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or relevant.
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance system implementation and strong process optimization including hands on trouble shooting skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Engineering Standard & Regulations both local and International.
  • Knowledge IEC standard, Area classify
  • Experts in Planning & Scheduling.
  • Computer literacy: Ms-Office, CMMS, SAP/PM module.
  • Good command of written and spoken in English.

Critical Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing and maintenance of chemical or process plant environment for understanding issues and solution.
  • Electrival engineer experience is perferable 
  • Corrective & preventive and predictive maintenance system in manufacturing operation.
  • Safely operation in manufacturing operation.
  • Familiar with SAP, CMMS.

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Engineering technical document unstinting.
  • Problem solving, Root cause analysis. Electrical or mechanical analysis skills for machine failure.
  • Machine, equipment and system improvement.
  • Ability to plan manpower / spare part / material
  • Customer-focused, Result-oriented, Initiative and Coordination.
