To support that challenge, the Knowledge Management team is looking for an intern to develop and implement data structure strategy and migrate data sets from historical systems to current archival platform, thereby improving access to big data and enabling data-driven decisions.

Estimated Duration: May 2023 – August 2023
You will:
- Gather and analyze requirements and develop appropriate data structures
- Transform large sets of unstructured or poorly structured data from various systems into properly structured data sets
- Migrate data to an archival system
- Learn and deploy a variety of additional data management skills
- Operate in accordance with Syngenta Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) standards
Qualifications
What you must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
What you might also contribute to the team:
- Some Biology knowledge is an advantage
- Current Sophomore or Junior standing preferred
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, as well as part of a team
- Proactive approach to assigned objectives/goals
- Prior experience or course work in data or computer science is required
- Prior data management experience is strongly desired
