IT Lead SE BRPY

The IT BR/PY Lead role will provide senior-most leadership and direction for all aspects of IT requirements.  As a trusted member of the Brazil PY leadership team (BRLT), this leader will ensure the right mix of IT solutions to optimize cost and productivity while enabling business growth in the Seeds business across all functional areas.

This leader will also ensure effective coordination of effort across the Syngenta IT landscape, working closely with the Corporate function where required.  Additionally this leader will ensure promotion and embedding of company digital strategy into IT and across the Seeds business.

Furthermore this leader will be a catalyst for the creation of a business focused, agile and outcome driven culture in IT and across the Seeds business.

• Working closely with the BR/PY leadership team establish and maintain a companion 5 year IT plan and budget which enables the BR/PY Seeds business strategy.
• Establish a BR/PY IT leadership team and management system which focuses on delivering the CP and Seeds business strategy and creating an agile and engaged IT delivery capability.
• Establish robust IT delivery capabilities for all business functional areas including Commercial, R&D, Production and Supply, Finance and other corporate functions as necessary. 
• Establish an IT capability to create a step change in the impact of data and analytics for the BR/PY Seeds business.
• Where required work closely with LATAM and Corporate IT to enable scale and support for shared IT platforms and business capabilities.  Ensure optimal utilization of center-based and local IT resources.
• Establish and lead an IT cultural change program which promotes focus on our customers, agility, simplicity in methods, strong business engagement and business outcome-oriented thinking in IT.

Establish and lead annual or periodic processes for project portfolio, IT budgeting, business architecture, technology identification, technology sourcing, people and skills development and other IT support activities.

• Extensive career experience building and leading delivery organizations
• Career experience as senior leader working with C level business leaders and teams
• Demonstrated career experience in multiple business domains (e.g. IT, Finance, P&S, Commercial, Shared Services)
• Career experience in envisioning and leading high impact change projects. Demonstrated ability to lead and catalyze organizational change
•  University undergraduate and/or advanced degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Sciences, MBA, or other relevant educational experience.
•  Additionally this leader needs to know how an Ag business works, what is happening in our industry and major IT trends.
