Role purpose: 

The HR Systems Integrations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Integration Delivery Workstream who specialize in the delivery of Projects and Integration Changes.  The role is key in supporting all resources within the team achieve the HR function goals through the correct integration methods whilst ensuring quality is paramount in the delivery of all initiatives.  The role is also strategic, actively influencing decisions within the integration architecture whilst building stakeholder relationships across the integration landscape and managing the demand on team resources to deliver our change portfolio.

Accountability:

·       Lead and manage both internal and external Integration resources on a day-to-day basis

·       Manage resource demand across the Integration portfolio with effective planning and communication to stakeholders

·       Govern & oversee all project and change delivery for all integration demand, holding complete oversight of team engagements, supporting upon the need.

·       Build strong links between the Integration Delivery Team & Internal Support Team ensuring robust knowledge transfer on change & project delivery to enable BAU monitoring and support.

·       Represent HR Systems on all RFI/RFP initiatives from an Integration perspective.

·       Review and influence project timelines from a technical perspective to ensure clear delivery and achievability in line with required quality

·       Contribute to the HR Systems ODA & CAB governance boards

·       Monitor, evaluate, and transform the delivery methods across the team, utilizing lessons learnt from previous initiatives and support feedback, always looking for improvements.

·       Continuously assess the methods of delivery to look for efficient, consistent ways of working across the team.

·       Co-ordinate and manage interdependencies between Vendors, Functional resources, and Integration Resources on multi channel deliveries.

·       Monitor Team efforts and ensures adherence to process, quality standards and release management, promoting the right behaviors.

·       Manage the relationship with middleware teams including escalation points

·       Review and sign off the specification of data requirements ensuring Data Privacy Impact Assessments are performed where applicable.

Functional Skills:

  • Expertise of HR technologies & the functional application of Workday, including SLAM business processes
  • HR Integration expertise, working knowledge of all applicable Workday integration methods.

Leadership Skills:

  • Team Management: Knows how to manage and motivate teams to achieve required goals. Leads by example.
  • Effective Communicator: Expresses information to individuals or groups considering the audience and the nature of the information.
  • Conflict Manager: Demonstrates ability to manage conflict in a sensible, fair and efficient manner.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to build and maintain effective relationships across a variety of stakeholder groups globally.
  • Analytical Thinking: Dissects problems logically, identifies core issues & develops sound solutions.
  • Design Thinking: Understands requirements, the business drivers and associated benefits, actively listens and ensures robust integration design.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiates skilfully in tough situations, building long-term trusted relationships

 


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of overall work experience of Workday Core Business Processes.
  • Minimum 5 years of Workday Integration experience, in either implementation or post implementation roles.
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree desirable; Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations, Business Administration or other technology specific field.
  • Strong experience in data management, root cause analysis and system remediation.
  • Experienced in managing multi location/time zone teams and contingent resources
