In-Country HR Operations Manager

Purpose

Work closely with all In-country model HR Operations leads to ensure effective and efficient operations and delivery of HR services to employees in the region. (~30 countries in AMEA).

Ensure a high-quality Employee experience by leveraging technology and delivering continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

  • Build relationships with Country HR Operations Managers to ensure that high quality services are being delivered to employees
  • Monitor and review operational performance across the countries
  • Deep dive into recurring issues to resolve escalations, and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and train HR Operations resources in country
  • Lead HR Operations Forum for In-Country HR Operations and best practice sharing
  • Shares global guidelines and process changes to HR Operations Manager across the region
  • Roll-out global initiatives and ensure governance and compliance with local Work Instructions
  • Plays a main role in supporting In-country HR Operations in terms of service delivery and HR Ops performance.
  • Respond to service escalations and play an active role in resolution and closure.
  • Continually monitor operational performance by working closely with global HR Operations through the Syngenta management framework across the delivery models. (Both Delivery Center & In-country models)
  • Provides insightful reports based on data analysis on HR Operations.
  • Be a confident subject matter expert on the service delivery model, operational processes, business processes, and operations technologies.
  • Act as Regional SPOC for key HR systems-related training for country HR Ops. (ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Responsible for updating respective LWIs.
  • Produce region-specific routine reports/ dashboards for Ops Head and Regional HR Head.

 

 


Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Graduate. Preferably a degree in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in HR Operations
  • Sound Knowledge of end-to-end HR Operations processes
  • Good understanding of HRIS (Workday is preferred), ServiceNow, workflows, and HR
  • Experience in working multi-country environment
  • HR Reporting and data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
