  • Promote a fluid and constant relationship between the different departments in/out the station in HSE, Quality and Bio-safety areas, securing company policy adoption. Drive and create a safety company culture in site.
  • Track and monitor HSE sites performance for core processes, supporting and driving continuous improvements on diferent OpEx initiatives.
  • In line with HSE company’s guidance, coordinate maintenance activities for the R&D sites, besides activity coordination with other vendors when attending sites for being fully compliance.
  • Champion and embed the use of quality management processes, appropriate tools and best practices within the HSE, Biosafety and Quality. This position will be expected to work 40% of his or her time in the office and 60% on the work floor to create a deep HSE and Bio-safety site culture working jointly with different functions and teams.
  • Work with the relevant experts on site on bio safety activities, proposing with local teams the best practices and workable measures to ensure compliance with relevant national and international regulations & standards.
  • Monitor at each stage the results of the work team, verifying that they evaluate the risk factors that affect the safety and health of workers.
  • Communicate in the workplace both the risks of their work place, as well as the procedure followed for the preparation of the risk assessment to give as valid the final report of the Risk Assessment.
  • Design, implement and coordinate plans and programs for preventive action.
    Determine priorities in the implementation of preventive measures and evaluate the effectiveness of these.
  • Elaborate the Training Plan for workers in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention and bio-safety. Conduct or coordinate the training of personnel in the field of Occupational Hazard Prevention.

 


Qualifications

  • English skills, to communicate fluently with functions in or out the station.
  • Experience of +3 years as HSEQ responsible in industry.
  • Degree on Agronomy, Biology, Biotechnology, Pathology or related activities with a Master’s degree on Risk prevention services (3 specialties)
  • Experience with standard implementation GSPP, ISO 9001 v2015, and quality management System
  • OpEx training and continuous improvement mindset
