About This Opportunity

We seek an experienced Digital PMO Consultant to join our HR Digital team.

In this context, the HR Digital PMO Consultant will be responsible for the design and delivery of global strategic HR solutions and processes that are innovative, fit for purpose and create a great employee experience; you will manage the HR Portfolio for the different Regions, HR Sub Functions and Business Units ensuring opportunities for simplification and automation are highlighted and realised.

Accountabilities

  • Oversee the delivery of the HR Digital project portfolio to quality and cost.
  • Engage and partner with senior HR stakeholders across Syngenta Group to explore and define HR portfolio demand and manage delivery expectations.
  • Manage annual portfolio planning and reporting in a fast-growing and developing matrix organisation with competing priorities.
  • Identify and drive experimentation and early adoption of new tools in support of projects and virtual collaboration
  • Work with and direct Project Managers and Product Owners in reviewing and updating project templates, managing portfolio, cross-project risk identification and detailed portfolio reporting
  • Establish forums for global and regional HR Solutions Consultants to connect and establish best practices to enable shared learnings and achieve common goals
  • Actively network within HR, the business and externally to learn of opportunities for synergies and learning

Qualifications

  • Several years of HR operational or consulting experience
  • Strong project management experience in implementing large-scale HR technology solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Experience working within an international matrix in a complex global organisation and across different functions
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in managing senior stakeholders
  • HR functional experience
  • Proven facilitation and influencing skills
  • Ability to think critically and challenge the status quo
  • Significant experience driving large, complex projects to a successful completion as well as ability to work in a Global environment
  • Ability to lead a large organization through change while maintaining day-to-day operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees, colleagues, leaders and stakeholders at all levels with a proven record of influencing outcomes remotely
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach.  Strong ability to lead and manage through change
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities and be very organised
  • Ability to champion new ideas, concepts and technologies and obtain buy-in from executive leadership and peer
