We believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, we are currently seeking a Global Value Chain PMO (m/f/d) to support the global Value Chain team in Basel.

The Value Chain (VC) team partners with food companies and other organizations to work together to assure security of supply while achieving sustainability targets. In this role, you will support the global team with cross country coordination activities that will support delivery of revenue targets.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish a program governance framework and ensure a clear and standard operating system is in place (standard processes and documentation).
  • Design and maintain a global VC account system (around 90 initiatives and 23 people cross teams and countries involved), clarifying accountabilities which are constantly changing and creating a standard documentation system.
  • Develop and refine tracking system to monitor and optimize VC initiative delivery in global and regional/local level.
  • Create and maintain a centralized system to access all information, documentation and resources available to facilitate effective knowledge transfer. Identify which elements will be most helpful and proactively share this with the VC country or team example project manager resources, tools, best practices, connecting key people/business partners.
  • Run VC account groups and VC community events to promote cross-sharing best practice and effective coordination of the teams (cross functions and geographies) which are running VC initiatives in global, regional and local level (over 100 people approx.).
  • Develop/ enhance presentation and case study materials to communicate Value Chain initiatives (internally and externally). Create onboarding materials (presentation, videos, and newsletters). Coordinate with comms where possible. Oversee delivery of monthly Positive Beat circulation to the value chain community (over 100 people approx.).
  • Support global account manager to establish and run coordination of Solidaridad partnership (4 working sessions, member of the S&S Partnership Operative Team, 65 people involved cross organizations, functions and geographies).
  • Other
    • Design and organize face to face or virtual workshops, training and webinars.
    • Oversee project team budget management, monitor and control expenses.
    • Adhoc desk research and insight gathering to support new account targeting example Danone or Kellogg, new initiative analysis, example top crops/ active ingredients and market trends in Europe.
    • Support general team engagement and team building culture. Create and promote a collaborative environment within the value chain community, where knowledge and skills are shared to facilitate efficient and timely delivery of initiatives.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree, Marketing & Program Management proficiency
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in matrix driven multinational companies
  • Experience working with different cultures
  • Project management capabilities and experience
  • Fluent in English, Spanish a plus.
  • Track record of creativity and innovation.
  • Advanced Digital competences: Microsoft Office, O365, SharePoint (html language), Camtasia, Bananatag, Openshot, Photoshop, Gimp, MS Project, SmartSheet, Trello, Mural, Tableau, PowerID
