As part of the Workforce Management team you will work in a cross-functional environment to enable reliable and scalable business centric solutions and services. Leveraging your strong technical knowledge and in-depth expertise, you will bring outside in perspective to improve access to talent at Syngenta, enabled by technology and striving for productivity and data driven decision making.

As part of the HR Services team you will lead the operational delivery of Workforce Management Services. Starting with the management of FlexTalent, our flagship external workforce program, you will work closely with Procurement and HR colleagues, business customers, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders, to design customer centric efficient process. Leveraging technology and automation to build solid data driven decision making platforms we get Syngenta future ready for total talent management.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Coordinate the seamless delivery of services within a defined global framework at global scale, fostering collaboration across countries and tracking metrics to drive strategic value for the organization
  • Manage vendor performance to drive service excellence and maximize productivity
  • Act as business process owner for end-to end external workforce processes. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Design, sign off and improvement of processes across functional silos, geographic and business unit boundaries
    • Collaborate across functions (HR, IT, Procurement and legal) to ensure an overall fit for purpose delivery of external talent
    • Act as SME within system related projects, functional system enhancements and on-going business as usual development or escalations
    • Accountability for maintaining end to end processes documentation under your scope globally (process maps, global work instructions, how to guides, knowledge articles)
  • Respond to service escalations for the external workforce program and play an active role in resolution and closure
  • Support the Global Workforce Management Lead in the design and implementation of optimal Workforce strategies that deliver business centric outcomes through automation and efficiency, tapping into market best practices and innovation
  • Assist the Global Workforce Management Lead, manage and coordinate of large global and regional service providers to enable optimal service delivery in accordance to mutually defined metrics (this service portfolio encompasses staffing and recruitment services, outsourced managed services, and enabling technology platforms/solutions)
  • Act as a change agent across Syngenta for external workforce management transformation and key change projects, leveraging analytics and storytelling to communicate benefits and engage stakeholders
  • You will also work as part of a global team of HR Operations professionals working on a variety of projects which will help to continuously develop functional capability or support business initiatives

Qualifications

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of market trends and labour regulations related to External Workforce and Total Talent management globally
  • Substantial demonstrable experience of Talent Acquisition and/or External Workforce management. Experience in implementation and management of MSP and VMS models is a desired advantage
  • Bachelor of Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Relevant experience on process management for service delivery and supporting technology operations
  • Strong English written / presentation, oral communication and influencing skills tailoring the content and approach to the specific audience
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with peers, senior stakeholders  and suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
  • Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity, active listening, and a willingness to experiment and test new ideas when appropriate, with the focus very much on continuous learning and improvement
  • Action oriented mindset and ability to make decisions and influence others

Additional Information

We are also open to the role being based in Manchester or Budapest.
