Accountabilities

  • Own and maintain the process map methodology and template that will be used across Vegetables
  • Develop process maps with the functions/departments to agree on roles and responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve gaps in roles/responsibilities between functions or departments
  • Support and secure that process mapping will be used for Continuous Improvement
  • Exchange best practices & learnings and drive harmonization cross-functional
  • Manage projects regarding harmonization and optimization

About Us

Through leading innovations, we help farmers around the world meet the challenge of feeding a growing population and taking care of our planet. We are currently seeking a Global Process Quality Improvement Lead for the Global Vegetable Quality Assurance team in Nampa, ID. (This role may potentially be based at other appropriate Syngenta Veg sites, including Woodland, CA)   


Qualifications

Critical Knowledge: 

  • Experience in Seed Science, Horticulture or related field
  • More than 5 years of Vegetable Seeds QC or Processing industry knowledge; with a minimum of five years in an international company, preferably in a matrix structure
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of E2E Vegetable Seeds business processes

Critical Experience:

  • Proven success in building relationships
  • 5 years of experience in seeds / horticultural / agricultural business or supply chain
  • Experience in working / leading multi-disciplinary and multi cultural teams and or departments
  • Supply Chain Operations / planning / project management
  • Team building and change management skills
  • Strategic leadership abilities and experience

  • Ability to build up global networks
  • Consistent working skills, able to deliver under pressure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills at all levels
  • Negotiator, decisive, result oriented, self-driven
