Job description

Syngenta believes that every employee can contribute to safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support this mission, the North America Seeds team is currently seeking a Global NPI Excellence Lead to be based in our Woodland, CA location.

What will you be doing?

  • Drive importance of positioning/placement excellence in NPI launch process ensuring product market fit is achieved.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain, to ensure our processes enable seamless product launch excellence
  • Work closely with Territory PS and commercial team to maximize NPI Success and to collect information for further process improvement.
  • Identify technology opportunities to streamline leverage of NPI varieties across geographies and customer segments.
  • Evolve the organization's mindset from a New Product Introduction to a New Offer Introduction approach, pivoting from a product-centric to a customer-centric perspective
  • Design a process that will allow to Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of new product introductions by using tools and KPI's. Work closely with Territory PS and commercial teams to maximize NPI success and to collect information for further process improvement.
  • Collaborate on pilots with Brand & Customer Experience teams to document best practices around NOI’s that ensure the full spectrum of the customer offer is integrated and aligned with the product launch.
  • Lead the development of training programs that equip sales and marketing teams with the knowledge and skills to effectively communicate the full value of the offer to customers, fostering a customer-centric culture within the organization.

Qualifications

What sets you apart?

  • Experience in developing new products and bringing them to market successfully.
  • Ability to conduct market research to identify consumer needs and preferences, and to develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles to effectively promote new products and build brand awareness.
  • Ability to manage projects from ideation to launch, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, marketing, and supply chain to ensure successful product launch.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
  •  Understanding of cultural differences and nuances in different markets to effectively tailor product launch strategies.

Salary Range $103,700 - $148,000
