Global D&A Visualization Ops Squad Lead

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

As a Global D&A Visualization Ops Squad Lead you will be the Product Owner of the Visualization Platforms and related Operations - Mainly QlikSense as an enterprise dash-boarding tool.

QlikSense is a strategic enterprise BI and Visualization tool being used by   approx.  8000 users on Quarterly basis. It is crucial to ensure that the business users are enabled through the Quality and On time availability of the Qlik Dashboards on day to day basis for their business decisions. 

Your main accountabilities will be:

External Focus – Customer Centricity:

• Manage the QlikSense Platform Operations efficiently by engaging productively with Supplier Managed services team
• Ensure the Platform availability and Data Quality and availability as per the SLA, KPIs in Daya to Day basis  ( Always On )
• Work with various suppliers for key initiatives and Operations continuous improvements for business users benefit
• Solve product (Platform +Ops) related problems, make decisions, and trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
• Identifies and help the client understand the D&A / IT  model, value and value proposition of the Visualization Ops service

Internal Focus –  Ops Continuous Improvements:

• Own the Technical Architecture of the Platform and put Proactive measures , process , continuous improvements in place for maintaining Optimal Cost of the Platforms
• Ensure Ops continuity through tracking Licenses renewals , Cloud Certificates renewals
• Work with peer teams ( Cloud , Azure AD, IAM  ) to expedite problem solving ( P1, P2 )
• Serve as the voice of the Business customer towards Supplier team for Ops Managed Services team.
• Translate from technical to business, and vice versa and Provide Inputs to the Dev team  by defining backlog items for the platform related developments in the Agile ways of working
• Understand end-to-end data management interactions and dependencies across complex data pipelines from source systems and how they impact D&A products.
• Work with Visualization Chapter Lead to put the right people in the Platform+Ops Squad

Contribute to Syngenta D&A Strategy:

• Work with Visualization Chapter Lead to define the Strategic Chapter Roadmap for Visualization tools and guide the team to achieve the defined milestones for Platform / tool / process
• Work with Chapter lead to align with Overall D&A strategy (e.g. BDO->MIO ) – translate it for the specific directions for Visualization Ops  and communicate within the team

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Proven track record in successful managing D&A Visualization Platform and Ops (QlikSense Preferable) 
• Overall 10-15 years of D&A management experience
• Experience with defining and implementing change management agenda
• Experience leading teams in an agile matrix organization.
• Working with different levels of the organization (business and IT)
• Experience with Business Analyst methodology, gathering Business Requirements, defining personas, mapping information required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or related D&A fields
• Multiple years of business or IT experience in P&S domain.
• Experience in SAP, SFDC datasets, Cloud based ELT, QlikSense, PowerBI (or to be gained in the job).
• Experience running Scrum/Agile development practice (ideally as product owner or scrum master).
• Experience with Business Process Management.
