Purpose:

The Fleet Operations Administrator (FOA) aims to enforce operational and to some extend strategic leadership for Syngenta’s vision and goals for the whole area of fleet operations. The role covers all Syngenta fleet operations and a wide range of responsibilities such as but not limited to supply chain, compliance, invoicing, data management and reporting.

Under the responsibility of the Fleet Operations Manager (FOM), the FOA Will participate to the management of the day to day of a fleet of more than 240 vehicles

Accountabilities: 

  • Enforce the existing car policy and processes. Ensure compliance with all global /regional strategic fleet initiatives including TCO reduction, continuous improvement and innovation, best practices, compliance, environmental targets
  • Ensure fleet availability of vehicles by following all alerts
  • Provide consultation to personnel concerning vehicle maintenance, repair, and procurement, short term rental; respond to inquiries
  • Manage reporting requirements and day-to-day business needs with Syngenta fleet-related services and providers: fleet management, leasing, OEM, maintenance/service, fuel, resale, regulations, etc.
  • Maintain the specific data bases of sales, lease, registration, inspections, fuel and maintenance of fleet management
  • At the request of FOM check invoices
  • Participate in the renewal of vehicle process with FOM, involved in the return of vehicles and checks the vehicles assessments

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge:

  • Educated to a degree level standard or equivalent
  • Fleet Management experience
  • Good level in Excel and Microsoft office
  • Taste for vehicles and overall knowledge of new mobility
  • Have a valid driver license
  • Effective and proven English and Hungarian
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the contracts management in relation to the provision of services to the countries
