Role Purpose

  • Work with functions in annual budgeting exercise, periodic monitoring of performance against budget and prior year.
  • Monthly sales reporting, including sales rebates, and credit management.
  • Prepare a business case for Projects, Capex, commercial and sales policies, review of financial terms for contracts, and post analysis.
  • Setting Franchisee targets (Vol/Value/Product wise) and designing of YEI structure.
  • Engagement with commercial team for Sales analysis RM/ZM wise and product profitability.
  • Prepare costing/feasibility for NPIs.
  • Preparation of monthly reports for SFRM, Pre-SOP, and SOP.
  • Identify areas for bringing cost efficiencies and implement projects.
  • Perform Financial Planning and analysis and support the decision-making processes.
  • Develop and share reports for the business to increase financial vigilance and transparency of information.
  • Perform product profitability analysis to support selling prices and transfer pricing decisions.

Accountabilities:

  • Advises CLT on the financial impact of strategic and day-to-day business decisions and proposes actions to improve performance.
  • Co-ordinates preparation of business plan ensuring realism and consistency based on thorough assessments of economics, products, opportunities and resources.
  • Ensures that the business assets are safeguarded by the development/effective operation of internal controls and financial compliance.
  • Ensures management of an effective cash planning, management and monitoring system
  • Meets the requirements of the company concerning external regulatory bodies for the provision of financial information both at a local and international level
  • Represents the business on financial matters internally and with external bodies e.g. Auditors and tax authorities to meet statutory/legal needs.
  • Lead continual development of finance function and team to meet emerging challenges and changes.

Qualifications

  • MBA (Finance)/ACCA/CMA/ACA with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-national organization.
  • Hands on experience on SAP.
  • An accountancy qualification or a relevant business degree A sound understanding of financial processes and risks in a large organisation
  • A sound understanding of important business performance measurements
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of business strategy
