Farm operation assistant

Role : Farm Operation Assistant

This role is purpose to support farm operation supervisor and agronomy team to deliver operation activities as well including field operation and station operation. Strengthen to utilize mechanization and technology adoption & OPEX to improve the processes and efficiency

Accountabilities

• Support Farm operation supervisor to monitoring and planning for agronomy activity to align with master plan from NSPP technical team & demand owner (GD, PP, PLP)
• Strongly collaborate with Research associate to deliver high quality trials to ensure success of nursery and yield trials for quality seed on target quantity and quality data in timely manner.
• Effective collaborative and communication to work across function with GD, PP, PLP and project team as well as NSPP team to ensure operation smoothly.
• Support farm operation and crop management by fully utilization of farm mechanization and automation efficiently.
• Ensure E2E process align with WIs and SOPs with quality standardization & HSE compliance of operations.
• Responsibility to support station operation and other activity.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

• Bachelor degree of Agriculture or related fields.(Prefer in Agronomy, Farm machinery or Agricultural Engineering)
• Understanding of basic of crop management, application technique, agriculture mechanization/ equipment and post harvest machinery.

Critical experience

• Ability to drive car and tractor.
• Flexible to visit field trials across country as required
