Manage the written communications for the CEO and other executives by creating and editorial content including speeches, videos, articles, social media posts, internal company messages and letters. Reporting to Head CEO, Executive and Thought Leadership Communications, the position is responsible for leading the content creation process from the initial idea through to the final published product.

The most important task for the Executive Content Manager is to ensure accurate messaging that supports the business and positions Syngenta Group as a Thought Leader in the agriculture industry. The aim is to create communications material which inspires, encourages and connects with both internal and external audiences.

Additionally, the role will work to edit, improve and enhance presentation and briefing material, created and led by the Project Manager CEO Communications and Engagements as well as work together with the Executive Comms Team to monitor analytics. The manager will then use these insights from analytics to adapt communication strategies and content to maximize impact.

The Executive Content Manager is also managing agency support, providing briefings and guidance for external vendors, and responsible for verifying facts and figures on all final products. He/she will play an editorial leadership role for colleagues in the broader Group Communications team by editing and reviewing content and share guidance and advice on all CEO related communications.


Qualifications

  • Writing and editing speeches, scripts, videos, internal and external posts and letters on behalf of the CEO
  • Managing agency support including creating outlines, proposals and creative briefings
  • Tracking and managing the iterative input and approval process for Executive Communications content – “holding the pen”
  • Coordinating logistics for filming, video editing, b-roll and translation
  • Verifying facts, figures, spelling and grammar on final products
  • Managing the sign-off, publishing and distribution process for content
  • Collaborate with business units and functions to gather stories and formulate key messages which can be used in communications material
  • Working together with colleagues in the Executive Communications team to monitor, record and analyze engagement on posts (e.g. views, likes, comments)
  • Support Group Communications, where possible, by proofreading and editing social media posts and written content
