Digital Marketing Lead

This role will be a subject matter expert leading the development and deployment of critical digital marketing campaigns, a key contributor to annual marketing campaign planning, and a catalyst for continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate across marketing and commercial technology teams to support the execution of Marketing Campaigns
• End-to-end project management for digital marketing communications from the briefing stage through stakeholder approvals, deployment and measurement
• Implementation of activities related to the successful execution of email (Pardot), SMS (SMS Magic), nurture campaigns (Engagement Studio), forms and form handler creations (123formbuilder and Pardot), landing pages (Unbounce and Pardot) and related measurement
• Acts as “Subject Matter Expert” on Pardot applications for execution which includes:
  • Development of campaign automation / ecosystems to deliver targeted campaigns
  • Setup and ongoing maintenance of templates, landing pages, and distribution lists
  • Provides reports that can be automatically delivered that show campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Assists in the testing of campaigns across different platforms and environments
  • Setup of campaigns in Salesforce, including contact and lead management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Agriculture or a related field
• 5+ years of experience executing in a marketing automation platform – SalesForce Sales Cloud, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, etc
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines through Project & Stakeholder Management best practices
• Initiative, results driven, focus on meeting or exceeding stakeholder needs
• Exceptional communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

This position is a 14 month fixed-term contract position that is covering a parental leave.  We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Calgary, AB, Guelph, Ontario or remotely across Canada.
