Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Corporate Affairs team at Syngenta Italia. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications within a leading multinational company in the agricultural sector.

As a Corporate Affairs Intern, you will be immersed in various aspects of corporate communications, public affairs, and internal engagement. This role will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Syngenta's operations and practical experience in both internal and external communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate and Institutional Communication:
    • Assist in drafting press releases, articles, and content for the company website and external communications
    • Support social media management for corporate accounts
    • Help organize and promote external events and visibility opportunities
    • Contribute to media monitoring and social media performance tracking
    • Support data analysis and preparation of communication activity reports
  • Public Affairs:
    • Assist in monitoring key national and European issues
    • Support the preparation of reports on regulatory and legislative topics
  • Internal Communication and Engagement:
    • Help create internal newsletters, intranet posts, and content for company collaboration platforms
    • Assist in managing internal communication channels
    • Support the organization of virtual events and employee engagement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Keen interest in corporate communications, sustainability, and the agricultural sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

  • Regular feedback meetings and progress evaluations

Duration and Hours

  • 6-month full-time paid internship (potentially renewable for another 6 months).
  • 8 working hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Location

  • Office located in Milan, Italy.
  • Hybrid work model: 2 days in office, 3 days remote per week.
