As Data Engineer & Visualization Expert, you will evaluate and make improvements to business processes in Operations. You are going to ensure the efficiency of business operations, by creating and implementing changes or improvements. You will generate documentation of existing Processes and improvements, you will forecast expected results of process changes, analyze implemented changes and make further adjustments as required.

Accountabilities

  • Data analytics using Problem Understanding, Automated Data Extraction, Data Wrangling and Data Exploration techniques.
  • Identifying gaps in Data Quality due to manual errors and lack of uniform data collection processes.
  • Driving data/technology-driven projects and supporting end-to-end implementation in collaboration with IT and Data Science teams.
  • Liaison between IT and business – exploring and mapping current IT tools and systems for business users.
  • Supporting leadership meetings and MBRs using data driven reports and insights.
  • Translate business requirements, multiple data sets, KPIs, and other data points into relevant dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
  • Implement and maintain reporting capabilities using PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, and other reporting applications

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Math or related field
  • Technical Skills (Required) – SQL, Smartsheet, JIRA, Sharepoint, Microsoft 365- Advanced Excel, Power Automate, Powerapps, Visio.
  • Technical Skills (Preferred) – Python – pandas, numpy, and matplotlib, SAP, Denodo (Data Warehousing and Virtualization concepts), Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt.
  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics/statistical modeling across a range of different Industries
  • Experience designing and prototyping visualizations for large and complex data sets with demonstrated business application
  • Experience in the agriculture or biotech industry
  • Ability to rapidly synthesize information from multiple sources, communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner in multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based and cross-functional team environment
